Pediatric Referrals

At Dr. K Pediatrics, we provide referrals during your child’s office visit to help connect you with the right specialist.

If another provider recommends a referral, we ask that you schedule an appointment with one of our pediatricians first so we can make sure your child is referred to the appropriate specialist. Don’t forget to check that the specialist accepts your insurance—this helps avoid any surprises.

A quick note: we cannot issue referrals after a specialist visit or procedure. Insurance companies won’t allow us to backdate a referral, so please wait to see the specialist until your referral is completed.
